Before we started shooting our film, we carried out a survey to see whether people knew what a teaser trailer was and what they expected to see from a teaser trailer. We asked people regarding the length of a teaser trailer, what they would expect from the music, the genre and mise en scene. We found that these responses will help us got create a teaser trailer that is representative of what people look for.

Drawn Storyboard
This is the drawn storyboard for our teaser trailer. Here we have drawn out what we hope to achieve when filming our teaser trailer. Some spaces such as for the text and the title of the film have been left blank as we haven't decided on what text will show at the moment.

Rachel's Research into 20 Teaser Trailers and their Promotional Campaigns
In the following 47 slide powerpoint I have analysed 20 teaser trailers from a range of genres, analysing them in terms of shot types, trailer length, number of shots etc. I have also taken a look at the promotional campaigns surrounding each film including the film's website, a range of magazine covers surrounding the film and also promotional posters for the film, which we will ultimately have to make for our own teaser trailer.
Coursework Brief
A promotion package for a new film, to include a teaser trailer, together with two of the following three options:
